Don't forget...registration open this Friday at 8 PM!! Be ready so you don't miss out.
Also, based on previous year's history, we have decided to go with the following division caps this year:
Professional -- 28 total players
16 MPO
4 FPO
8 MP40
Amateurs -- 44 total playaers
No division caps, but with these offered divisions:
MA1
MA40
MA50
MA2
MA3
MA4
FA1
FA2
For a divisions to be formed in the Amateur divisions, there must be a minimum of 3 players. In the event there is not enough for the division, players may move to other eligible divisions prior to or day of the event. This does not include Women's divisions, as there will be no minimum required.
If all Professional spots are not claimed by June 15th, they will be offered to those on the waitlist for Amateur divisions based on the time of registration (via the registration log here on dgs).
Also, keep in mind, in prior years, on average, 8-12 people have moved up from the waitlist into the event based on drops. So don't be discouraged if you only get a waitlist spot, as there is a decent chance you will get in by the date of the event. We will also continue on with full refunds for anybody who drops by 48 hours before the event. Within 48 hours of the event, any drops that occur that do not have their spot taken by another player will receive a player's pack and/or partial refund. This falls in line with PDGA standards. If you drop within the 48 hours window and your spot is taken by another player, a full refund will be issued.
If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know.
Thanks!
