Good afternoon - I'm reaching out to you because of a conversation I had with a gentleman today about disc golf. This afternoon a disc golfer called and made a complaint regarding the care of the course. He said it had been vandalized with paint and flags. He further said he took the flags down. This was a painted cross country course for the high school. They have an invitational tomorrow and the course was flagged and marked by their coaches and volunteers. Memorial Park is used by a variety of users - including the schools. We have a long history of cooperation - and honestly, they have been running cross country events in Memorial Park for at least a decade. I know from reading the forum and comments that many of you are aware of the other users and have been gracious in your interaction. We ask that you continue to enjoy the course and be respectful.
