Due to David Richardson Memorial being unavailable for the weekend of the event we've disabled registration. We'll have an update on where our new venue will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019.
Full refunds will be offered to the registered players in the event our new venue doesn't work for you. Unfortunately, there are a number of factors that have required us to pivot to a new venue, which I can assure you is only due to the fact the park is being handed over to Calgary Parks around the same time our event would be hosted. In short, the venue isn't bookable until after this transaction occurs.
Furthermore, Baker Park will no longer be our second course. In fact, it's likely we'll only have one course. That means we'll be capping the event at 72 players, with slots being reserved for the Alberta Tour Series Champions and the North Woods Tour Champions.
It does limit the number of players we're going to accommodate, but it also means we're going to have the most dedicated shooters in Alberta in attendance. We appreciate this might come as a surprise, but as this is our first official PDGA Sanctioned AB Championships of the modern era we're seeing it as an opportunity to do something awesome.
