We had a great turnout last night for Draw Dubs! I believe it was the best Wednesday night turnout since we started. We had 29 people, which made for 15 teams, with one person (me) playing Cali. The weather was perfect, the course looked great. It was a great night for disc golf. There were quite a few new faces (to me) last night, which was awesome! The midpoint ratings cutoff was about 860 last night. So, if you are that or above, you were drawn on the pro side. I believe that's about what it was last week, as well.
We played the Blue course, which is mostly in the longs right now. Alex and Shon tore it up, shooting an 8-down 46. Alex hit about a 75-80 footer on Hole 10 for the Birdie. It was sweet. They split $78. Jim and Shawn shot a solid 49, along with Mike Hettinger and Tom Coffin. They did a CTP throwoff on Red #1 to decide 2nd place and Jim's throw sealed the deal. They took home $48, where Mike and Tom got $20 for 3rd place.
Joe Escovedo and Ben Hansen apparently chained out of the CTP hole (Blue 3) and stayed next to the basket to earn them both a disc from the CTP Bin. Neither chose the beaufitful dyed Explorer from Adrian Bozeman, so it will remain in there for next week!
