Open Divisions --
MP60 has been changed to MP55.
Mixed AM Divisions --
MA1 - There is a waitlist, that waitlist will be added to the registered list Friday. After Friday we will open the waitlist up again for 4 MA1 Players. I can't see us going deeper than 28 MA1 players this year.
MA3 is likely to be removed due to the high interest in the MA1, MA2, and MA4 Divisions, and the spread of attendees from all over the province. The Alberta Open strives to provide as many divisions as possible, but at one point we need to make a decision.
Women's Only Divisions --
I've removed FA4 in order to help provide more competitors for our Women's Rec, Intermediate, and Advanced divisions. If I get enough players to fill the allotted caps I'll be happy to either add slots to popular divisions or re-add FA4 to accommodate a future influx of requests.
Growing engagement with our women disc golfers is very important to the Alberta Open, but we also want to keep it competitive for our committed players. Obviously, reach out to Lobo directly if you have any suggestions.
