The hurricane went from a class 4 to a class 3. I live in SC...Langley should only receive about an inch or 2 of rain. I've been watching the hurricane by the hr cause I'm excited for this event so I keep watching. Sorry I comment on everything but only the cost is going to get hit hard....but we should be good...just bring an umbrella!

I have a wife and 2 year old son. I understand that you have been watching the storm intently but I have to consider the fact of their safety and am trying to just keep up to date with whether this event will be canceled or postponed or if I need to ask for a refund and withdraw. Weather is not something that is ever guaranteed. I’m sorry but I can look at one website or news station and see that we are going to be fine and lip over to another that says board up your house no matter where you are in the state. I am going to continue to wait for the TD to respond and hopefully we get some information sooner rather than later for fthose needing to travel. I mean none of this rudely just expressing where my thought process.

I completely understand Garrett. Your family is way more important than a disc golf event. Believe me, my wife is worried too, but she knows no matter what decision is made will be a positive one. I have played in some extreme conditions and yes I want everyone to be safe especially having to travel for the event I received an email from the TD (which we all did) but I'm sure he will do what's best. I'm sure it isn't an easy decision for him or the pdga...but like he said, safety first. South Carolina will receive alot of rain, but I dont think this area is going to be effected hard. But it's not my call, so I respect all decisions made. But I do agree, a guaranteed answer will be great. I'd love to play this event rain shine wind etc but safety is #1. Hopefully I'll see everyone Saturday morning with an umbrella and 20 mph winds.
