Thanks for coming out everyone! Great turnout with 18 people. Welcome to our newest members from the last couple of weeks, Jared, Monty, Matt and Nick! We've had 2 Aces in the last 2 weeks (record for most in a season) Johnny M on hole 6 and Ben S on hole 15, great throwing guys. Ace pool is now at $54. Hot round this week went to Matt N with a 45 (-11) which is a new League record as well! Right behind were Jarred H with 46 (-10) and Jeff K with 48 (-8).
For those newer PDGA members who may not know, the ratings were updated yesterday so don't forget to check out how you've done (link for our league is at the top of the page). FYI: ratings are updated every month or so, but they only include completed tournaments. As we are in the middle of our 10 week session we miss every other update, but I have coordinated the last week of Summer league to coincide with the cutoff date of the next one so our next PDGA update posting will be October 30.
It was brought to my attention after people had left that many of you have been asking if we will be playing any different courses this season, so it was voted upon by the remaining players that next week we will be playing at Founders Park (The Farm). I'm not sure if everyone reads the news here so please spread the word to all the players you talk to outside of Tuesday nights! I'm also arranging with Terry Calhoun another night at his private course BRATS before the end of the season! 5:30 will be the tee off time once again, but with the light failing we will be bumping up to 5:00 in the next week or 2. See all of you next Tuesday in Farmington! (bring your tags LOL)
