I'm so old, today was my first computerized tournament results entering. We used to chisel them into stone tablets. Please let me know if we missed anything. Thanks everyone for the kind words. We have a great team out here, even if they are very new to the sport. Still work to do on the course, but the way they came together for this event and in general is very encouraging for hosting future events... stay tuned!
Especially need to thank Ben Bramwell, Matt Smith, and Shawn Randall Sr. Among several others, but those guys in particular. Many of the "Good job" comments I hear should be directed to them more than me, but I need wins where I can get them!
Speaking of wins, we are the leaders in the "Best Spread" competition. Some food got left in coolers or on back tables and barely got touched! I am issuing the challenge to the rest of the series- a relatively new course with mostly new golfers brought the goods! What you got Mosquito Lake?
Lastly, one of my symptoms is number geekiness. Lastly, one of my symptoms is number geekiness. Vast majority yesterday had either never played the course, or only practiced it ponce or twice leading up to the event, so I was curious how scores changed between rounds as golfers gained experience. So, by division average score change by round: MPO -1.1, MM1 -2.6, MA1 +0.5, MA2 -1.0, and MA3 -1.4 That is for the 70 golfers who played both rounds. MA3 golfers really stayed the same from first round to second, but one guy shot 22 strokes better (serious props there Tim!)
sounds like I missed a good one. Can't wait to get back out to this course.
Course is awesome! Bill and Co. great work out there and I’m excited to watch the course grow!
You got a fun course there Bill and crew. Congratulations !!!
