Does anyone know what's going on with this course? Hole 13 has a bunch of mounds of dirt down by the basket, and the big bush in front of the tee pad has been removed
I was curious of that myself...that dirt by the basket has been there for a while....the other dirt piles further to the right have been coming from that boat ramp they are working on...not exactly sure what they plan on doing though...the trees were super recent though.....
When I was there a couple weeks ago the piles of dirt were covered in shards of glass, I found that a bit odd.
All dirt was dredged from the boat ramp area. The busted glass is from the history of the restaurants. Will try to find out more info for you.
Just talk to the Parks and Recreation Dept., The project is taking longer than they though. Eventually the dirt will be sifted and leveled out and new grass seed planted. The bushes and tree was removed to accommodated the High school for football use.
Thank you for the info! It's really not so bad the way it is, just have to play your second shot so it doesn't land in the dirt. I like that bush being gone!
so if the bush was removed for football makes me feel like the course wont be able to be used om some days/times due to practice?
Football only uses 300 feet, just throw over them! :P
