Steve Hedstrom: Hi all, What awesome news for the new design be

Hi all,
What awesome news for the new design being approved! In moving forward, I have been looking at league days and tourneys in the area. There are so many now! I am thinking that a great day/time to set our work days is Thursday's from like 4 or 5 until dark. This will not interfere with out local leagues or weekend tourneys in the area and also allow up to get consistent momentum in our clearing and install work. What do you guys think and shall we post it? Thursday 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 5/25. It would be my hope that between these 4 work days or one more, we would have the course in by the end of May or 1st week of June.

This is referring to the redesign of Brewer park, not a new park. The Redsign is being implemented in part because of the PDGA Pro Master's Worlds in August. There will be new baskets and atwo courses, 1 is a Championship level 18 hole course, and the other is a smaller 9 hole course.

Im in as much as I can be Steve, although it seems we will need a lot more time than that. I dont see how we can avoid some weekend work. Its gonna be the best time to get larger groups of volunteers out there.

I can tell you that the Discraft Baskets for the Family course have been ordered, I will double check on Monday with Bob Julio at Driscraft for an arrival date. They will be at Frisci Discs until ready for installation. I am not sure of the time frame on the Innova Baskets for the Championship course.
