The Pelham Tuesday points and tags series has come to an end, but that doesn't mean you can't still play on Tuesdays! Casual Tuesday rounds are now in effect and encouraged with a 4:30pm start time for those that can make it. We'll be keeping it real simple, flippin' discs or using a deck cards to break up into groups and go.
Also remember that the end-of-season league finale is on Sunday, 9/18 @ 9am. More details on that still to come in a separate news post, but plan on two rounds with lunch in-between.
Thanks to all that came out this Tuesday for the last points round. Everyone played as quickly as they could and fortunately all groups finished with only minimal glow disc usage. Mega-props to you all!
We had a 3 way tie for first place this week -- Greg Bianco, Noah Proctor, and Vijay Kakkad all posted a 51, taking home 42 points each and tags #2, #3, and #6 respectively.
CTP for the par 4 Hole #5 was dominated by Matt Stolarz. He banks $24 and a couple bonus points for the win.
We had an ACE this week! Trevor Howe showed his skills with a masterful ACE on Hole #13. Unfortunately, if you don't pay into the Ace Pot for the week, the Ace Pot does not pay you out... Trevor does take home 5 extra points for the ace, and a $1 consolation prize.
Regarding the Ace Pot funds -- Given recent news from the town of Pelham that we will not be receiving the extra funding we had been expecting to pay for overages in the current tee pad improvement project, we will be changing the previously proposed allocation of the un-won Ace Pot funds to cover these overages. There will still be some remaining, roughly $30, that will be used to seed an Ace pot for the finale day.
