Renegades Trail redesign of hole 16/CCR Open News
Renegades Trail Change - We have been working tirelessly to redesign hole 16 on Renegades Trail and it is nearly complete. The fairway is cut and the tee pad is marked, so anyone wanting to WALK IT is more than welcome to. The new pad will be poured this week and will be ready and playable by mid week. Currently there will be one tee pad and you will be throwing to the short pin (blue flag). Everyone will be playing the hole at the tournament. The path taking you to the hole is left of 15's long pin.
If the park staff is in there working, please do not disrupt them. They are most likely using heavy equipment and do not need the distraction.
Are they gonna make another path eventually so you dont have to walk all the way down behind 15?
No. The path we have cut out is direct and takes you directly to the tee pad. Any other path would be indirect and probably disrupt flow on the new hole.
This change was made so when players are throwing to long 15, those teeing on old 16 are not in harm's way... also, those teeing on 17 will no longer have to worry about drives coming into 16 long pin.
Redesign looks great.
