There will be a new OPTIONAL division in singles league! This was something some of us thought of at the end of last summer as an excuse to throw some new plastic outside of what we're comfortable with. It will be scored as its own individual division outside of the normal Elite, Advanced, Intermediate, & Rec. If you decide to pay for the sanctioned rounds, you must still play those rounds with the mystery bag.

Tonight, we went through and picked 12 discs, none from the same manufacturer (no Discraft, no Innova, though we do have Discmania and DGA, and yes we know MVP and Axiom are the same company) mostly at random that should run the gamut of shot selection. IF you decide to play this division, your bag can only consist of discs from the approved list, you don't have to buy or use them all of course, and you can have multiples of the same mold, but ONLY discs from the approved list are to be used.

The only caveat (and there had to be one) is you can putt with whatever you want. As long as you are doing a putting throw (jump putts count) you can throw with your putter of choice. NO UPSHOTS.

Buy in for the division will be the same as usual, but there will be no basket for the winner as in the regular divisions, final prize is still being discussed, but talk was leaning towards a voucher (or gift card) towards some nice shoes.

So without further ado, here is the approved list:

Putters: Vibram Summit, Prodigy P2, Westside Harp
(remember you can use your own putter for putting, these are just driving & upshot putters)

Midranges: Axiom Theory, Dynamic Discs Truth, Discmania MD3

Fairway Drivers: Legacy Patriot, Latitude 64 Saint Pro, Millenium JLS

Distance Drivers: DGA Torrent, Gateway Samurai, MVP Photon

If you decide to use these discs, you are responsible for purchasing them and having them ready for the first week of league, though if you're interested, I'm definitely up for coordinating orders to save on shipping.
