Monday Night Scrambles at Sims Park Disc Golf Course returns on April 4th after the conclusion of the 2015-16 NEO Indoor Putting League on March 28th. For the month of April, start time will be 5:00 PM, and we will move it up as time and daylight allows. There will be a few changes to the league this year, including a points standings to crown a league champ. Points will be awarded by finish, with 1 point awarded for your team and every team you beat. $2 will be taken from the buy-in each league night to purchase a trophy disc for the 1 player with the most points at the end of league in October. Although this is a team scramble, there will be only 1 League Champ. Random draw with A/B pool should help even this out for players of both skill levels. The Daily Cash CTP will still be in play each week on a randomly drawn hole, and the Ace Fund will be in effect and will cap this year at $200. After that, another Ace Fund will begin. There will also be a different format for the last Monday night of each month, with formats like Birdie Bash, Alternate Shot, Worst Drive, and some others. $7 will get in you each week, with $5 to payouts, $1 for ace fund, and $1 for Daily CTP. At the end of the year, if no aces are hit, one of the Ace Funds will be used for 4 $50 CTPs, one each on holes 4, 5, 6, and 11. Also, the last Monday of each month will have a League Night Out, where we will go out after to one of the local pubs for food and drinks if anybody is interested.
