Monday Night Scrambles returns June 1st!!

Monday Night Scrambles makes it's 2020 debut this coming Monday, June 1st with a 6 PM start. The usual A/B pool with random draw will be used. Cost is $5 for entry, with optional $1 ace fund and $1 random hole CTP ($7 all in). See you all on Monday to kick off the 2020 season!!!

What's up Ohio!! My name is Lee and I am that random guy from Texas that showed up for doubles a few weeks ago. I will be staying in the Mayfield Heights area for two weeks starting on 9/16. I plan on playing as much disc golf as possible over the course of those two weeks. Monday Night Scrambles at Sims Park Disc Golf Course returns on April 4th after the conclusion of the 2015-16 NEO Indoor Putting League on March 28th. For the month of April, start time will be 5:00 PM, and we will move it up as time and daylight allows. There will be a few changes to the league this year, including a points standings to crown a league champ. Points will be awarded by finish, with 1 point awarded for your team and every team you beat. $2 will be taken from the buy-in each league night to purchase a trophy disc for the 1 player with the most points at the end of league in October. Although this is a team scramble, there will be only 1 League Champ. Random draw with A/B pool should help even this out for players of both skill levels. The Daily Cash CTP will still be in play each week on a randomly drawn hole, and the Ace Fund will be in effect and will cap this year at $200. After that, another Ace Fund will begin. There will also be a different format for the last Monday night of each month, with formats like Birdie Bash, Alternate Shot, Worst Drive, and some others. $7 will get in you each week, with $5 to payouts, $1 for ace fund, and $1 for Daily CTP. At the end of the year, if no aces are hit, one of the Ace Funds will be used for 4 $50 CTPs, one each on holes 4, 5, 6, and 11. Also, the last Monday of each month will have a League Night Out, where we will go out after to one of the local pubs for food and drinks if anybody is interested. Spread the word and let's get this league back up and running in it's full glory this April!!!

We are now at officially less than one month until registration closes for the Trilogy Challenge at Sims Park on 6/13/15!! Don't wait and miss out!! There's gonna be some cool side games and prizes this year, in addition to a really cool players pack that is more than worth the $30 entry fee!! If you don't want to pay via Paypal, shoot me a message and we'll work something out. I'll be at most of the local events in the next month (Pundy RWB, The Beauty, Shoot the Breeze), and can take cash then if you prefer. Hope to see some old and new faces this year!!

This coming Saturday, the City of Euclid is hosting the third annual Wind Fest at Sims Park. We have been invited to participate. It runs from 4-9. I have a table for us. I am going to be there with a portable basket and discs, probably running a putting contest and handing out lists of local courses with a list of basic rules for playing. Anyone wanting to join me would be AWESOME!

Sims Saturday Scrambles starts tomorrow at 2 PM and will run through the winter until the Monday league starts back up!! Same format as Monday's, but with a new ace fund that will payout at the end of the season if no aces are hit. Payout will be through CTPS at during the last league round.
