I'm going to be in Brentwood for a long weekend this coming Thursday and I'm an out-of-stater from Michigan. I've done some scouting and it looks like Cedar Hill, Seven Oaks, Sharp Springs and Crockett Park are the best courses available within the proximity. I wanted to double check and make sure I wasn't missing any hidden gems while I'm in Tennessee.

Chris, Those are all great courses, I personally love Crockett and Seven Oaks, also a brand new Nashville Disc Golf Store near Seven Oaks (Look on Facebook for The Nashville Disc Golf Store - Catchy name huh?). If you play Crockett, the Play it Again store in Franklin TN near Cool Springs mall has a ... more

I would suggest subbing in Oggwood instead of Crockett, and then i think its safe to say you played the 4 best in the area. Oggwood is a private course about 40mins north of the city. Free to play and no reservation/contact is needed, just show up and throw. Address is 5004 Ogg Road, Cedar Hill, TN. Enjoy!!!

Also you should check out the new course in Dickson, TN at Buckner Park. It is a beast from the longs! Very fun though.

Thanks Wade and Andrew. I'll definitely be dropping by the Nashville Disc Golf Store. I can't get on Facebook at work and was wondering if they accept trades? I have something like 50 discs I wouldn't mind parting with to pick up back up plastic. I've added both Naval Hill an ... more

Play it Again Sports does take trade ins.

Thanks Wade I'll be making a stop. I see Will and Paul Uli will be out at Shelby. Any idea how I could figure out their tee times and starting holes to come out and watch, or would I just have to show up for registration to figure it out?

Andrew Maley   December 30, 2015 at 11:02am

I believe that NDGS also takes trade ins as well :)

I dont think that the Shelby tournament is tee times because it is two rounds. My guess would be that both of them are put on top card, which should tee at 8:30ish from hole 1 on the temp course. Keep in mind it is not the normal Naval Hill/Shelby course, but the address for the temp course should be on the facebook event

Nice I hope NDGS does take trades. I've got some loot to unload. Someone PM'd me the temp course address, so I think I should be able to find it via GPS. I'll just try and get out there early so I can watch the big boys huck bombssssss!
