They need to look at the time stamps and get the pros back in that should be. Not sure who screwed up but should be a simple fix . Maybe a few folks will be butt hurt but it is what it is. I have screen shots of the registration before they changed all the pros to the wait list if that helps but this has to be fixed.
Hi Aaron, we did adjust the waitlist numbers based on the order the registrations were received. All waitlist numbers now reflect that.
The open players on the waitlist, at least half of them should not be on the waitlist. It allowed others to sign up after them without being on waitlist.
I have screenshots and you should have time stamps that support what I say.
Why are all the players with the exception of 1 all from the pro divisions? That would only make sense if the pro division was capped.
Players on waitlist that is.
At the time the issue was discovered, the Pro divisions had a cap of 25 players. The waitlists were adjusted to reflect that cap. We will review all registrations to make sure the waitlist is correct.
There was a cap on the pro division? I was under the assumption that there was not. If this is true then this makes sense.
I thought that we had reserved 25 spots for pros but not capped it at 25.
That was the TD's intent
That sounds reasonable-- we may need to wait for the TD to reply here.
I set it up to guarantee 25 pro spots to register but did not cap the pros at 25 or at least that was the intent. What is the best way to resolve this, Pete? Thank you
the best way to do that would be to cap AM's at 65, this would allow wait list to build on AM side, while pro continues to register until full
If I am understanding the intention of the reserved spots and caps, I think the best solution would be to move from separate divisional waistlists to an overall waitlist, then make sure the first 90 players to register are on the registration list and anyone after that is on the waitlist in order of registration.
Agreed
