Kelly, I'm not sure why you think my comment about my wife being a strong, empowered woman was taken as sexist...oh well.

Madison Walker   December 17, 2015 at 1:17pm

Ignorant...that's a new one for me! Hahaha. Aaron, Chris, and Leigh, maybe we can talk in person at the event. Thanks for the apology, and I agree with you Leigh, conveying a calm conversational tone on social media is like trying to put out a fire with dryer lint. I'm sure you guys are ni ... more

Do I have to pay to be on the waitlist for open women?

Jon Horey   December 9, 2015 at 5:23pm

Yes. Sorry, Ashley. Just want to be as fair as possible to everyone else that has already signed up on the wait list. Its up to 21 on the wait list now so its up to you. Thank you and lets hope we can do a separate PRO and AM weekend next year so everyone can get in!

Ashley Collins   December 11, 2015 at 7:06am

okie dok I'm signed up and paid. if we don't get to play will our money be refunded and how soon would we know so I can make plans for a stay and doggy care

Jon Horey   December 11, 2015 at 12:13pm

Yes your money will be refunded if you dont get in for sure. All depends if anyone drops out to be able to know. Wait list numbers are posted on this site so keep an eye out but I believe you are at number 22 on the wait list.

Jon Horey    December 9, 2015 at 8:39pm

Found a solution that will make everyone happy hopefully. We are going to add two holes to each round. Three round tournament with 20 holes each round. This will allow the people who were on the wait list before it was full to get in and not have to kick anyone out. If you remember in the past we have always had an extra hole during the short pad round we just never started anyone on that hole... now we will and we will use it all three rounds. Wait list is now one list and not by division. The ... more

With this many interested in playing; why has this not been separated as a pro wknd/day and then an am wknd/day? Has this been put into consideration? Just a suggestion. I was on the wait list last year, as well.

This is definitely going to be discussed and I am going to do everything I can to have separate PRO and AM weekends next year. Disc Golf is growing and thats a great thing! Filled in record time!

Kelly Tucker   December 9, 2015 at 7:36pm

Its a good problem to have but It wont help my situation this year. 2nd year on the wait list. :(

Leigh Smith    December 9, 2015 at 9:13am

I am annoyed that I had to sign up,to this website to make a comment. I'm more annoyed that I was to,d I was in this tournament and now am on the wait list. Please take me off of the wait list and refund my money immediately. This is ridiculous.

We apologize for the website error. All entry fees are refundable and we'll make sure you get all your money back.

Jon Horey   December 9, 2015 at 10:39am

Sorry for confusion, Leigh. We talked on the phone and you are now in! Savannah open here we come!

Jon Horey    December 9, 2015 at 2:58am

I am working out the wait list debacle and will be in touch on this thread with updates. We will get it figured out and hopefully everyone will be happy! Sorry for the confusion and thanks for being patient. Savannah Open filled in record time! Thank you all!

I have receipt for registration (without a wait list) at 2:23 pm, i think it said 30/27 at the time, the wait list did not kick in until much later.

Hey Matthew, got it squared away and you are in! See message above with the explanation. To make it short we are adding two holes. So sorry for the confusion and looking forward to seeing you soon! Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks man!

Matthew Halton Smith    December 9, 2015 at 1:15am

I signed up for open and there were still ~20 am spots available, MHS #24663

They need to look at the time stamps and get the pros back in that should be. Not sure who screwed up but should be a simple fix . Maybe a few folks will be butt hurt but it is what it is. I have screen shots of the registration before they changed all the pros to the wait list if that helps but this has to be fixed.

the best way to do that would be to cap AM's at 65, this would allow wait list to build on AM side, while pro continues to register until full

Pete Crist   December 8, 2015 at 5:55pm

If I am understanding the intention of the reserved spots and caps, I think the best solution would be to move from separate divisional waistlists to an overall waitlist, then make sure the first 90 players to register are on the registration list and anyone after that is on the waitlist in order of registration.

Aaron Thomas   December 8, 2015 at 11:46pm

Agreed

Aaron Thomas    December 9, 2015 at 12:52am

There should not be a cap on the pro division.
