Kincaid Course Prep Hole Sponsor version 7

Update as of Saturday evening....

We got a brand new mower and it runs like BUTTAH! Just ask Jordan. It’s self-propelled and it is a beast!
All the tools are in my van, mobile storage. I will be there all day this Saturday cutting and removing branches from fallen trees. So that’s a good day to be out there working on your holes. We have enough equipment for peeps to work on two holes at a time. So please schedule accordingly.
To keep this organized this is what I need from you to post in comments-
1) Which hole you want to sponsor
2) What day and time you will be there
3) Equipment? -- yours or the clubs
4) If using club tools which ones? Please limit to one mower and one weed trimmer per hole.

If you are using the clubs equipment, I need you to schedule it. 2 mowers, 1 weed whacker
1 push string mower

Thank you to those who have signed up already. There are still a few holes left. Those who are already sponsored on holes should not have to take more. Let’s get the last few holes sponsored.
Our goal is to get the course done by the close of this Sunday so there is a week of good practice on the course. I will not be doing any more work at Kincaid after this coming weekend so I can focus on PC prep. If you are going to be weed whacking I suggest you wear pants and long sleeves. As some of you know, juices from the cow parsnip are reactive to sunlight and will blister your skin. Use hearing protection and safety glasses. I have foam ear plugs if needed.

There are several holes that have not been started (except for 4 and 5 which I pre cut with the rumble beast). PLEASE DO NOT WAIT TO THE LAST MINUTE, WHICH IS NOW, TO FULFILL YOUR SPONSORSHIP. It has been averaging 12 man hours a hole because of the density of the vegetation, seriously! There are ... more

Ken and I will be there in the am and plan to have them done by the end of the day.

Greg Rouse   August 9, 2015 at 2:40am

I'll get Aaron back out ASAP to finish 17 with me. We'll be borrowing either the mower or string mower. Due to my/our schedule, it'll probably have to be Monday, but it will be done. Post-script; avoid loading yourself up with volunteering on two other courses when you already have 2 that you have to get done, haha. I'm going insane. And thanks, Dale for finishing up for us on 6.

I am assuming Ken will have the riding mower....whew...Good luck!

Thank you for the update Brian.

Id like to reserve the string mower tomorrow if it's available. Around 1pm. I called for reinforcements in case Aaron (who appears to be a bit flu-ish) can't make it, but if I'm solo it's no big thing. Just need the tool.
