With the hot temps came hot scores, wow! The course played to an average of 3.5 strokes less than the yearly yellow pin average. I guess people were happy to get back to the yellow pins after 6 weeks in the black locations.
Surprisingly, there were no members scores below 50 as the hot rounds were taken by Nate Mihos, Travis Prueter, and Zachary Vaughn. On the other hand, we had some amazing adjusted scores with Jamie Cusack (40), Elvis Hadzalic (41), Steve Porretta (42), and Ron Sampson (42) all scoring at 42 or better. Stealing the show was Bob Blanton with a smoking hot, Best Adjusted Score record of 38! In his words it was the round of his life. Nice shooting!
Overtaking the top of the points standings is Travis Prueter (744), replacing Jory (740) for the top spot. The points race should start to heat up in the coming weeks as rounds start to drop from the standings in week 15.
