To explain a rule, not quite as I announced last night, pertaining to Cali players (players without a partner): An ace will only be eligible to win the ace pool if it is thrown on the Cali player's first shot off the tee for a given hole, unless that player has paid twice to be eligible for the full payout. This is the way it is spelled out in the league rules, but a Facebook post I read the other night by someone not connected to our league or region in any way prompted me to clarify this point.
