We ended our 2015 Winter league today in style, battling it out for two rounds in temps that felt very much like winter still! Thanks everyone for coming out! I had a great time, and I hope you all did as well. It was fun to play with two different partners and a different group of people each round. The format seemed to work very well, and it may be something that we adopt to close each of our Summer and Winter leagues from here on out.
Congratulations to "Ninja" Nate Yarbrough and Jon Tucker for each taking home a berth to the 2015 Michigan State Championships!! Lost Disc Tribe looks forward to you guys representing us out there and bringing home some trophies...you are both more than capable! Also wanted to remind everyone else that we will be distributing 3 more berths for Summer league (begins 4/26/15), so come out and rack up those points this summer to get your berth through Lost Disc Tribe!
We also had a new doubles course record shot today! Joel Coppernoll and Jeff Lozowsky put up a scorching hot -16, only missing holes 11 and 18! Great shooting guys!
One more thing, just wanted to remind all of our league members to come out and support our biggest event of the year, the 3rd Annual Tribal Gathering, on April 18th & 19th. We could really use the local support, playing as well as helping to organize and run the event. Please contact me if you are available to volunteer your time on either day, and get on there and sign up today! 18 more berths will be distributed at this event!! It will pay to sign up early too, as you'll get a Sparkle Force added to your player's pack and these things are sweeeeet!
