Saturday was a great day for disc golf. New season is underway for 2015. Good luck to everyone! Bag tags were also on the line. Tommy is holding the number 1 tag going into the first week of the league. The new league has 3 divisions; Advanced, Intermediate and Recreational.
The Advanced Division has 3 players registered; Tommy, Chris and Joe. Joe made quick work of the course recoding a -10, 45 to win the week and regain the bag tag #1! Next was Chris shooting a -6, 49. Tommy rounded out the Advanced Division trio with a -1, 54. Joe also took the CTP (hole 9).
Intermediate Division is the largest group in the club with 5 disc golfers; Randy, Jim, Jeremy, Pat and Kris. Scores for this division were pretty competitive. Pat took the weekly win shooting par at 55. Jeremy was close and maybe if he makes a few more putts can record a weekly win but this week he finished second. Jim encountered difficulty getting out of trees and placed third. Randy made it home in fourth and Kris placed fifth. Jeremy won the CTP on hole 9 and was closest overall.
Recreational Division has 2 players so far consisting of Cassie and Justin. Justin scored the weekly win and Cassie took second.

Freedom Park is unavailable next week for league play. The league will tag our game on the road to play at Mojave Greens at Edwards AFB (http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=4277). I will be at Freedom Park this Saturday at 8 am, leaving by 8:15, for a caravan to the course for those that haven't been there before.
