2014 ADGO Bag Tag Finals Update

I apologize for the delay getting this update posted.

This was my final year of running the bag tag. I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone whose helped over the past 4 years by assisting me at the events I've run; and those who have stepped up to run the tags at tournaments and other events I didn't get to play in. Thanks also to everyone who bought a tag during the last 4 years. The success and growth of the ADGO Bag Tag League is due to your participation. I've enjoyed meeting, socializing, and competing against all you in the various events.

Dustin Penwright is in the process of getting a group of people to run the bag tag league next year. If you have the time and ability to assist him, please contact him. He is a regular on the ADGO Facebook page. I'm sure he would love to hear from you.

So on to the results of the Finals.
We had a total of 44 people in this years event. It was little chilly in the early AM, but warmed into a beautiful day.
Congratulations to Matt Dollar for defending his #1 tag and taking home some serious bacon.

1st - Matt Dollar Tag #1 $450
2nd - Patrick Meuleners Tag #2 $275
Matt & Patrick played an 18 hole match; started on hole 3. Dollar was up 4 holes with 3 to play.
3rd - Andy Stapler Tag #3 $145
4th - Jeff Shannon Tag #4 $78
NOTE: Andy and Jeff split the 3rd & 4th money in some fashion, I don't remember what the split was.
Phillip Tyler Belt, Mike Hallworth, Dustin Horner, & Cody Britain all made the Quarterfinals and received $40 each
I think this may have been the 1st year inwhich tags 1-4 were all present for the finals.
