Jen I saw someone asked about the late fee being the park fee, but I figured that was not the case. Jayne I could not agree with you more. I can understand doing a "discount" on the registration fee for an event that is likely to fill. That encourages early sign ups and makes the life of the TD easier. However, for a C-Tier that is unlikely to fill (and I mean zero negativity by that, just being realistic) where there are only 20 women signed up and five days to go, the $10 late fee is only going to discourage women from signing up this week. The series is here in order to promote women's disc golf and grow the sport. Having this late fee is discouraging to even the seasoned players. I had singed up a while ago for this and had to back out due to something else. Well that got cancelled and now I would like to play. But given that there is a $9 park fee, a $10 late fee seems totally unreasonable. And lets say it does fill. There are 52 spots available, where is that money going? Is it benefitting the tournament, the payout, the MWS, or women's disc golf in any way?
