Most of this time was spent discussing topics in the following two categories.

The following Test / Fun league formats for DFOK to host in the upcoming months have been set:
JULY: "Worst Lie July" (Doubles league with a twist. You play the worst lie, as determined by the other team on your card).

SEPTEMBER: "Super Class September" (Participants can only use PDGA Approved Super Class discs).
OCTOBER: "Awkward October" (Week 1: Cali League, Week 2: CTP League, Week 3: CTP League, Week 4: Ace Race League, Week 5: Ace Race League).
Note: A "virtual bag tag league" / "on-line only" test season will be conducted from September thru October. (I'll explain later)
NOVEMBER & DECEMBER: Focus on getting the details of the First Annual, 2015 DFOK Club Memberships ironed out.

Sincerely,

Did you guys settle on a good number for punitive lashings per PDGA rule violation? I'm sure that was the hot topic, right?

William Mitchell   May 30, 2014 at 3:03pm

Thanks for the update Rick. I wish I could have made it last night.

Rick Petrie   May 30, 2014 at 8:46pm

William, Thank you for the thanks. Not a problem, maybe you can make it next month (June 27th).

Rick Petrie   May 30, 2014 at 10:23pm

Yep Rob. We even voted you in as Cheif Lasher, hope that's okay.

Rick Petrie   May 30, 2014 at 10:33pm

But seriously (to all), far more time was spent at the meeting discussing how we can do a better job of educating new players the basic PDGA rules of play, without killing everyone's fun in the process.
