Seeking ideas on how to 'score' the matches in the Championships as part of the Club Competition. Because the plan is to 'seed' all club players randomly into separate 'regions' to ensure that no two club players would play each other until the round of 8, one way to score the first two-rounds would be to award each club 1 point for each match won.
Should the rounds of 8, 4 and 2 be scored differently? Is one point for each round be the fairest way to determine the Club Match Play Champions? Should the brackets for the final 8 be 'reshuffled' so as to avoid as many club v club match-ups as possible to allow each club an equal chance at winning the max possible points?
Remember, each Club will designate 3 scoring players during the Championship as some may have more than 3. The Club that scores the most points in the Championship gets their $200 annual membership fee waived for the next year.
