Disc Super Sale! This Saturday. and meeting about our club future.
The club needs to liquidate some of the merchandise to prepare for some of our up coming expenses. This will benefit YOU!
ALL CLUB MERCHADISE WILL BE SOLD FOR WHOLESALE + $1 THIS SATURDAY ONLY.
I will be at Hudson springs DGC at noon before the scramble to sell as much of our discs as you guys/gals want to buy.
ALSO: I am looking for a person or group of people to take on the leadership of the club going into next year. I will still be around to help with the logistics and networking that the new leadership will need. IF NO PERSON OR PEOPLE STEP UP I WILL LIQUIDATE THE CLUB AND DONATE AND USE THE MONEY FOR THE COURSE. anyone interested can instant message me, or show up this Saturday to talk about the situation and set up a meeting with any other interested parties.
thanks,
E.

If someone is looking to step up I would be willing to help. my schedule doesnt allow me to be there all the time but I would be willing to help keep this club alive.

I won't be able to make it Saturday as my brother is home from NYC this weekend. I will be in Wooster. I'm willing to continue to help with club activities/functions whenever I can. I'm passionate about getting 9 more holes cut out of the woods at Hudson and I know several other people who are as well. Its free land, we have the parks support and who doesn't love more dg holes? Not sure who could slide into Eric's el Presidente roll but I would absolutely help design, orchestrate and cut-out 9 more holes on par (pardon the pun) with the new holes. I think it would take about ten people dedicated to the project to get it completed (let me know if you're in). I also want to update pin positions (sleeves), along with the signs (re-print and plexy/outdoor vinyl). After that, I just want to play, or maybe get a course in Cuyahoga Falls (ol' Greg???).
I'll try keep it short, I would live to see the club go on, but it would take just the right person to step up and take the role from Eric. I'll try keep it short, I would live to see the club go on, but it would take just the right person to step up and take the role from Eric. There are probably only a few people that could fill that role, and if one of them doesnu2019t want it, then I would rather see the club liquidated, or at least cut back dramatically. The way I see it, with the new tee pads the club has already been a gigantic success, and if we get new baskets, itu2019s icing on the cake. If itu2019s possible to liquidate the club and have enough money to buy the baskets, I think that is the best move rather than have someone who isnu2019t the perfect fit to take over the assets of the club. Then maybe someone takes over running events at the course and thatu2019s it. Run a league and a tournament or two a year and be done with it. Its easier to trust someone with that than all of the club assets.
to the best of my knowledge the baskets are paid for and the money has been given to the park dept, this may have changed since the last time i talked to Eric. not sure
I also will not be able to make it saturday I will be out of state for work. someone who is there please fill me in on what happens.
Hope that's still the case Jon, that would be awesome.
were we plannung to put baskets in before winter or after or are there no plans anymore
no i dea Bacon. mmm Bacon.
money is in. no word on the order. count on spring.
