OFFICIAL DISCUSSION THREAD - CAT CLASH WORKING JOBS/SHIFTS
Morning -
7:30 a.m. - Event Set Up (As Many As Possible)
This includes: Tent set up, OB marking, Table Set Up, General Course Cleanup
8:30 a.m. - Registration (Josh + 2 others [Josh in charge of actual registration, the others in charge of the player's packs)
8:30 a.m. - Raffles and Donations (2-3 People)
Lunch -
Scorekeeper - I would like one more person to help me and verify scores, preferably someone not playing. Mitch, have you decided yet? If you aren't playing, I'd like you to help me with this.
'Chef' - Prepare hot dogs for grilling, also heat up some beans.
Table Workers - Take cash for lunches, take cash for disc purchases, take cash for raffles (at least 2)
Basket Movers - MOST IMPORTANT (at least 2), we have to do this quickly, Mark has to go along with us and I'd prefer him to be able to get to eat some lunch.
After Rounds -
Cleanup - Everyone would be nice. Haha
Scorekeeper - Again, Mitch if you aren't playing I'd like you to help me, if not, then whoever.
Table Workers (2-3)
We may need to move the baskets to the original pins, we'd have to talk to Mark.
Thanks. Everyone should comment. We need at least 6 workers for each shift. It is important that everyone do their part for the team.

Just so that you all know what I'll be doing: Morning - Setup then probably helping with Raffles Lunch: Scorekeeping, then lunch help most likely. After Rounds - Scorekeeping, cleanup, basket moving if needed

I can do whatever. The only thing is that I have to be back by 2 because I have Lifegroup stuff with Christian Challenge. So just really put me to work in the morning before I have to go :P

I can help set up, help with registration, help move baskets, wherever you want me, I just might have to leave before or in the middle of the doubles round.

I'll be in charge of Lunch supplies. Gonna go out and buy the hot dogs & buns, ketchup, mustard, napkins, chips, and water/pop. I think we should cancel on the beans to reduce cost and preparation time/space. I'll keep the receipts for reimbursement. I'll need some help serving and handling money.

Don't forget we also need the post-round Entertainers to keep people occupied while scores are being tallied. Really just need one person to run tiebreakers, put on the ring-of-fire, and help with raffle prizes.

I don't mind carrying the cost of lunch if I can get reimbursed for it. I planned to help with set-up and manage registration. During lunch, I planned to cook/serve food. After the rounds I can help with scorekeeping or prizes.

I figured the lunches were supposed to pay for themselves. Say I end up spending $40 on lunches, the club reimburses me the $40 I spend. But if we're doing $4 lunch tickets and 15 people eat lunch, that's $60 (net gain of $20). But if you would still like to bring it to a vote on Thursday night at the club meeting, we can do that as well.

I feel like we should just chip in to eat that money ourselves, I feel like $40 out of the club budget is unnecessary

Josh, even if the club paid for it it would be pointless for you to go buy the stuff anyway. I can just pick it up with club cash when I get the rest of the supplies. Haha, why add that extra reimbursing step?
