Anyone heading out to Peter's Creek to volunteer some of your time, this message is for you:
If you have a shovel, rake, mattock, saw, gloves, etc please take it/them with you. Also, the mosquitos are pretty bad out there so bug dope is a must. Lastly, be sure to have some water available.
P.S. We will be holding Saturday League at none-other than Peter's Creek. This is my compromise: In stead of cancelling SL, how about we go out there, play our round, break for lunch then put in some work? Most of us would have stayed for a second round anyways. On this same topic, if enough gets completed between now and next Tuesday I WILL NOT cancel Wednesday Night Dubs. As of right now, next Wednesday is scheduled as a work party. Like you, I'd rather play than work. Let's make it happen! Hope to see a lot of you out there over the next several days.
As of last night, the tee boxes for 2, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 have been dug out. The trail leading up to the new tee for 6 also looks really good. Hopefully I am remembering everything, I will update again later today to keep folks in the loop. Let's finish this work up soon people, I thi ... more

I'd also like to extend a big THANK YOU to Edan and Kurtis for giving their entire week to come up here and spearhead this renovation. The amount of work that has been done already is a testament to their dedication. THANK YOU!!!
i will be there tomorrow. and will see what tools i can round up.
As of this evening baskets have been moved on 6, 8 (old 9), and new 9. Tomorrow we need to finish digging tee boxes on 1, 3, 4, 5, 11, 17, and 18. We may also need to make a few of the boxes that have been dug just a bit bigger to accomodate the frames. 10's tee is almost there, needs a bit ... more

Bring your gloves, PICKS, and shovels and a can do attitude and let's knock this out!
Almost forgot, if anyone with a truck can bring a wheelbarrow we sure could use at least one out there tomorrow if not multiple. We have a large pile of soil by 10's new tee that could be used in various areas around the course to backfill old basket holes, fortify new pin locations, and possibly do some erosion abatement in areas as well. WHEELBARROW PLEASE!!!
ill try to get a wheelbarrow from my buddy what about post hole diggers? i could probably grab a set of those too if need be.
Not sure how many more post holes we have to dig, but go ahead and bring them if you can. I know that we do need to move a few more of the trash cans/tee signs. Thanks Tre.
Call me if no wheel barrow is being brought, I have one at my warehouse on spenard I can contribute. Unfortunately ill be working. I have a chainsaw and wheelbarrow to contribute. I start at 10 so someone come take what I have to contribute
How many times can you use contribute In a post? Lmao it's 3:15 sorry
Thanks to everyone that came out to help today, we accomplished a lot again. The course is really starting to take shape.
As of today we have just about completed digging most of the holes for the concrete tee pads. We were able to move the trash can from old 6 to the new #9, as well as relocating 14's can to the new tee pad. Clearing was done to open up the fairways on several of the new holes, and old holes and new pin locations received some backfill/fortification. It's still a work in progress, but we're making great strides. THANKS AGAIN everyone for all the hard work that's been put in out there so far, this is a course we're all going to be proud of once it's complete and we're standing on those nice new tee pads come States. Keep it up folks!
