DGLA MiCPS-Summer Highlighted Leagues of the Week - UPDATE 5/30
With the month of May wrapping up and the details in on the first 7 HLWs I thought I'd provide some insights to those who are trying to play the most HLW this season.
Now this is a great excuse to get out and play some new courses, see how other leagues do their thing and see old friends and make some new ones. The turn out should be a bit higher and many leagues ad a few extras into the mix. So if your looking for more payouts or awards it's a great time to play another league. And how better to learn a new course than to play with some of the locals who know the lay of the land.
If your into the points thing, looking to win a Discraft Michigan State Disc Golf Championships berth - Double Points!
OK I have the first 7 HLW into the stat grinder and besides trying to resolve players who use different names or variations the preliminary - unofficial current stats are so far:
169 players have played in these 7 HLW throughout the state.
Largest Highlighted League of the Week had 40 players:
Friday, May 17, 2013 - Air Zoo, Flight Club Dubs - Nice but that will be beat by the end of the Summer. Wish I could have made it over for that one.
Currently the most HLW league rounds played by a single player is 3 and that achievement is held by three players ( "*" denotes DGLA Player level players):

About this League
Doubles league - 23 active players
$5.00 player fee each session
$2.00 ace pool
$3.00 (2) 100% & (1) 50%/50% CTPs
Ace Pool total is $145 as of May 10
$10 all in. This will give us two 100% CTP's and a 50/50 and also an added prize CTP for all players.
"double points!!! The course is in great shape and we will be playing a minimum of 20 holes(10 holes 2x). The buy in will be $10 all in that will include $2 for ace pool, $3 to CTP's. We will have a 50% and a 100% CTP and also a prize CTP. If you need directions to the course please contact someone who has played here before or send me a message and I would be more then happy to get you directions to the course. I look forward to seeing everyone this coming Thursday at Moose Meadows and it should be a fun time as usual. See you on the course."
Thursday evening random draw doubles league. League will be played at both Moose Meadows and Willow Metropark disc golf course. $5 to play, $2 ace pool(pays out 50%) and $3 (2) 100% & (1) 50%/50% CTPs = $10 all in.
State berth will be awarded to the player who wins the overall league at cut-off date. A berth will also be given to the golfer who plays in the most combined league rounds on Thursdays and Sundays.
