DGLA MiCPS-Summer Highlighted Leagues of the Week - UPDATE 4/15
Got the taxes out and then some HLW scheduling. Hope Uncle Sammy was not to hard on your Disc Golf Funds.
OK the list of HLW events is coming together.
We are up to 27 participating leagues and 14 have confirmed dates for their HLW. May 15th is the cutoff for adding new leagues.
To point out a couple:
There are still open dates to be the first HLW of the season....
Currently the first HLW is Sunday May 5, 2013

Sunday, June 23, 2013 Would be a great time to be in Ludington. Besides getting to play some of the courses as a warm up for the Michigan State Disc Golf Championships August 31st, Kyle Jansen van Galen & Randy Gallagher have setup a Double/Double to make it worth the travel and help the players in northwest region of the state get their points. Double/Double - Black & White. Yes Double rounds that day; Random doubles for Double points and then Singles for double points. If I could do that new math I'm sure that's much more than Double the fun ;-)
Saturday July 27, 2013 is the last day of the MiCPS. There are currently 5 leagues playing on Saturdays. These will be your last chance for points for the MiCPS-Summer 2013. And your last chance for double point will be at 12:00pm - Summer Saturdays at Independence Lake County Park.
I'll update the list as I get new dates confirmed. HLWs start in May and go through July 27th. Reminder there is a Discraft Michigan State Championships berth up for grabs to the DGLA Player level member who plays the most HLW during the season. Start planing your road trips, coordinating the car pools and enjoying disc Golf through this great state of ours.
