This is very disheartening news. Cache County Fairgrounds informed me yesterday that the fairgrounds will not be available to us for Huktoberfest. When we met before, there was a group that had the park reserved but the officials assumed we could co-exist. After discussion, we can't co-exist and we were not first to reserve, so we got the boot. I scrambled to find a weekend that would work but the next available date was in November. I talked to Andrew Sweeton of the PDGA and we agreed to cancel would be the best way to go.
If you are one of the 5 who have pre-registered, I will get your money back immediately. The fairgrounds admitted some responsibility and reserved us for next year for free. So, expect it to be on in October 2013!
If any of you could do me a favor and take down any flyers you may see, that would be appreciated.
I apologize and promise not to bite of more than I can chew and not to be so flaky in the future.
