The MI Match Play Association(MIMPA) founded by the Big Rapids DG Club, the Battle Creek DG Club and Club Dead is a membership association of disc golf clubs promoting match play disc golf. MIMPA will be Hosting the 1st annual MI State Match Play Championships on July 7 in Big Rapids.
Currently players may qualify for the MIMPA Championship by playing MIDGC and Club Dead Travel League events to earn points. The top 16 players in the points race will qualify for the 2012 Championship.
Clubs wishing to join the Assoc. may contact Leonard Johnson here on the scene. Member clubs receive a designated number of paid berths each year for the MI Match Play Championships as well as other benefits.
