Hello everyone,
My name is Corey Nufer, and I am the director of the K'wood Chiefs, a recent addition to the Kalamazoo, MI. disc golfing community. The Chiefs have been assembled in order to raise awareness to the plight of people neglecting our courses, and we have made many strides in that area since our conception. For the past three months we have held one clean up day per month, and have a good relationship with the City of Kalamazoo, and with each of these events, the park gets easier to maintain. As well as cleaning up, we provide free food for both omnivores, and vegans to all volunteers, and I plan to make this a monthly tradition for many years to come.
In addition, I have organized a fundraiser doubles tournament in order to help pay for concrete teepads, signs, and make repairs on existing baskets. New Addiction Tattoos, and Lee's Adventure Sports have both agreed to help sponsor the tourney, and I am currently looking for more sponsors.
