Well it breaks my heart to have to part with this great practice basket. This Gateway Titan Pro that we have been taking to HLW this summer has been great. Easy to pack up and great solid practice basket it's hard to let it go but that time has come.

The Basket Raffle was held at Ypsi Dubs last night since it seems many could not wait to hear if they had a new practice basket to prepare for the State Championship coming up soon in Ludington. Jake Schooley and Sam Smith helped cut out all the tickets and my beautiful assistant Alyse Avery pulled the winning ticket. There was lots of anticipation as many in attendance had one or more tickets in the bag but only one would walk away with a new basket.
Alyse pulled the wining ticket, read off the name kind of quietly and everyone was quiet. Who? What's the name?
The winning ticket was purchased on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the 2012 Friday Night Discin @ Stony highlighted league of the week.
Thanks to all those who participated. The basket raffle did not cover the cost of the basket but it did help DGLA generate some funds for each league that participated - splitting the ticket sales 50/50 with the league. It was also fun using it for some Pre-Round fun at some of the HLW. It shows the potential of ways the local clubs, leagues and DGLA can work together to help increase the fun, generate some working capital for the leagues. Thanks again for everyone's help.
