Week 15 of the 2026 Deer Lakes League season featured another night of strong scoring and plenty of action across the divisions. In the Open division, Vinny Montanari returned to the top of the leaderboard with an impressive -13 (53) to claim the victory and $18. Sam Triest led the way in Advanced, carding a solid -4 (62) to earn first place. The Intermediate division belonged to Colter Ritsch, who put together a strong -7 (59) to secure the win, while Jeremy Leazier captured the Recreational division title with a +4 (70).
While no aces were hit this week, the birdie pot story took another interesting turn. For the third consecutive week, a player successfully hit the birdie pot, but because they hadn't paid in, the payout went unclaimed and the pot continues to grow. With more money on the line each week, the anticipation for the next winner is building fast. Jeff Amorose added a highlight of his own by parking his second shot on Hole #16 to win the CTP and take home $13.
With another big Open-winning score from Montanari, a growing birdie pot, and players continuing to battle for position in the standings, Week 15 kept the momentum rolling as the season heads deeper into the summer.
