934 is highest for ma2. Though there's an update tomorrow, so they may be waiting until after that to move players.Technically there's also a little discretion for the TD depending when the player signed up and how close to the update it is. (A few years ago there were two or three ma3 players over 900 playing at NADGT Nationals for example). But my guess is there will be movement after tomorrow's update across divisions.

The PDGA gives the TD discretion if the ratings update is within 2 weeks of the tournament. The player in question has been above the MA2 threshold for 6 months. I believe the TD was waiting for the last ratings update and the player will be moved soon.

Spot on. I didn't check the player's rating history, just that there is limited discretion.This case is peculiar then. Every event I've signed up for wouldn't let the registration through for a division if you are already outside the threshold based on the pdga number rating. I even played a series which does allow you to be above rating threshold if you were within the range when it started, and it wouldn't let me sign up in that division. Looks sorted now.
