The Memorial Day Doubles event wrapped up a great day of competition at Deer Lakes, with teams taking on a fun and challenging layout featuring a mix of the Red, White, and Blue tees. The combination of tee positions tested every part of players' games and produced some outstanding scores.
Leading the way was the team of Sam Triest and Zach Wasko, who put together a stellar -14 (52) to claim first place and $38. Finishing in second were Joe Bifulco and Matt Rosier, carding an impressive -12 (54) to earn $24. Rounding out the podium, Jai Singh and Brett Say fired a strong -11 (55) to take third place and $18.
The mixed-tee format provided a perfect way to cap off the Memorial Day festivities, giving players a chance to team up, attack the course from a variety of angles, and enjoy some friendly competition after league play.
