I agree with Scott, Ben, that it is not too late to spread the word about the change. However, if we start spreading the word and then do not get permission, it could be a disaster.
I highly recommend NOT spreading the word about the change until we find out tomorrow whether we can get permission quickly, or not. Worst case scenario in my head right now: I stop by tomorrow, fill out a form, write a check, and then they tell me they'll let me know "some time next week." Then on Wednesday they say "No," and it's really too late to get the word out.
