Week 9 of the 2026 Deer Lakes League season kept the summer momentum going with a strong turnout of 37 players battling it out at Deer Lakes. In the Open division, Vinny Montanari continued his impressive season, firing a smooth -10 (56) to claim the win and $23 while navigating a deep and competitive field. Jared Fechter led the way in Advanced, putting together a steady -4 (62) to secure first place. In Intermediate, Zephyn McCarson stayed red hot, carding a standout -7 (59) to collect another division win and continue his recent strong run. The Recreational division belonged to Jeremy Leazier, who grinded out a +4 (70) to earn the top spot. While no aces were hit and the birdie pot continues to build for another week, Brendan Reed added a highlight to the night by parking his second shot on Hole #18 to win the CTP and take home $20.
