Week 8 of the 2026 Deer Lakes League season delivered another exciting night, featuring strong scoring, a huge ace hit, and a CTP streak that keeps rolling. In the Open division, Matt Malcolm led the way with an impressive -13 (53) to claim the win and $22, finishing comfortably ahead of the field. Sam Triest stayed hot in Advanced, carding a -9 (57) to earn another division victory. In Intermediate, Zephyn McCarson took the top spot with a solid -5 (61), but the biggest moment of the night came from Wyatt Jagger, who aced Hole #2 to cash in a massive $149 ace pot. In Recreational, Nick Richardson added another win to his season with a +3 (69). The birdie pot remains unclaimed heading into next week, while Matt Rosier continued his CTP dominance by winning for the third straight week, this time on Hole #6 for $18.
