Week 6 of the 2026 Deer Lakes League season kicked off a new chapter as players took on the White tees for the first time this year, and with perfect sunny, warm conditions, the stage was set for a tight and exciting night of competition. In the Open division, Matt Malcolm stepped up and delivered, carding a hot -7 (59) to grab the win and $22, just holding off Matt Rosier who stayed right on his heels at -6 (60). In Advanced, Sam Triest made a strong statement on the new layout, firing a crisp -8 (58) to take the top spot. The Intermediate division saw Wyatt Jagger rise above the pack with a steady -4 (62), showing he’s more than ready for the White tees. In Recreational, Nick Richardson kept his momentum rolling, battling through the new setup to secure another win with a +6 (72). No aces were hit and the birdie pot continues to build, but Rosier added some flair to the night by sticking Hole 8 for the CTP and cashing in $17.
