Week 5 of the 2026 Deer Lakes League season saw some of the lowest scores of the year, highlighted by an incredible performance at the top. In the Open division, Brendan Reed put together a phenomenal round of -16 (50) to run away with the win and $22, setting the pace for the entire field. In Advanced, Josh Wertkin continued his strong season with a sharp -12 (54) to claim first place. The Intermediate division was led by Nathan Black, who fired a solid -9 (57) to earn the win and $17. In Recreational, Nick Richardson delivered an impressive -8 (58) to take the victory, capping off a great night by also winning the Hole 12 CTP for $16. No aces were hit and the birdie pot remains unclaimed as the season rolls on.
