Matt is working at Champions Cup this weekend, so I'll give you as much of an answer as I can. I am the PDGA Event Support & Training staff member assigned to facilitate this event. In the previous 3 years of USWDGC, the FP50 division has had the fewest players of any of the FP divisions under FP65. There will likely be spots that can be added to FP50 when we reallocate some spots on April 20th, but the highest priorities may be given to shift spots to divisions that have players on the waitlist. If you want there to be more spots allocated to FP50, a good strategy would be to register for FP50 and get on the waitlist. That will demonstrate that there's a need for more spots, and if someone who is already registered drops, you'll be in!
