Week 3 of the 2026 Deer Lakes League season turned into a true test of grit, as players battled through cold temperatures, whipping winds, and even snow—but that didn’t stop some incredible performances. In the Open division, Joshua Dymun braved the elements and absolutely caught fire, ripping off a blistering -12 (54) to claim the win and $18 in the tough conditions. In Advanced, Josh Wertkin powered through the weather with a strong -9 (57) to secure first place. The Intermediate division saw Bryan Schultz grind out a hard-earned -3 (63), a score that stood tall on a day where under par was anything but easy. In Recreational, Mike Piroch continued his hot start to the season, battling the conditions to earn another win with a -3 (63). A wild Week 3 showed that even snow and wind can’t cool off the competition at Deer Lakes.
