First of all there is no other league in the series that records 9 hole rounds. The point series is designed to get people to play more leagues at different courses. Not show up to one course and play a bunch of 9 hole rounds and count the same as people who are playing 18 hole rounds. A player who plays 36 holes a week for points should not be compared to someone who played 18.
Basically you guys played 18 hole of best shot then another 9 holes of something else. The simple fact that you re-flipped should not equal a separate round. It seems to not be in the spirit of what the points series is all about.
9 holes is half a round and therefore should be half the points.
We play two different layouts every week at Bandy but it counts as 1 round.
