Week 8 had moderate temps and wind with a dusting of fresh snow. Scores were somewhat mild considering the relatively friendly (for December in AK) conditions.
In A Pool, Frank kept things clean and shot a bogey free -6 (unofficially 975 rated). On his heels were two B Poolers --Adam Kiess who finished at -5 (963 rated), and Wes Moon who shot -4 (951 rated). Elsewhere down the cash list was Sramdaddy who made his money back in A pool, only needing a measly two birds (but no bogeys!) to do so.
In C Pool, Jeremy and Matthew had another battle but this time they came out all square to finish at +3 (865 rated) and split the 5-play C pool pot.
An update on standings:
John DelReal leads with 6 rounds and 100 points
Naz Munoz is in 2nd with 6 rounds and 86 points
Killian Flannery is in 3rd with 6 rounds and 75 points
In the hunt:
Scott Groves with 4 rounds and 67 points
Wes Moon with 6 rounds and 62 points
And of course, Jeremy remains perfect in attendance, hoping to notch his 2nd 100% attendance trophy.
Week 9 is going to be cold so we're going to keep things easy and play a standard round at the Goon. I'll attempt to place folks in 3 packs to expedite pace of play so be sure to show up to your starting hole on time so that your card mates aren't left waiting around to tee off.
