About this league
Fee per round $8
Active players 15
League information and rules:
1. Weekly league fee: $8 for ADGA members, $11 for non-members.
Submit your league fee via Venmo to @james-robinson-32
In your payment note - include your PDGA number and the date of league you're signing up for
How to use Venmo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O61hMHYWqc8
If you don't have Venmo, the onus is on you to find someone else playing league that week and have them Venmo your fee to James.
Where does the league fee go?
$5.50 - payouts
$0.50 - PDGA sanctioning
$1 (or $4 for non-members) - ADGA
$1 - Ace Pot
League payouts are made via Venmo weekly
2. Submit your payment via Venmo by 10am on Saturday ahead of a sanctioned 11am round. DO NOT JUST SHOW UP AT 11am UNANNOUNCED AND EXPECT TO PLAY. Flex starts are also allowed upon approval. Set up your own card of at least 3 players and let me know who is on it and when you would plan to start.
3. We tee off at 11am. Review your hole assignments on the PDGA event page linked above when you arrive at the course so you know where you're starting.
4. We will use live scoring. To keep score, go to:
https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/login
Access code is "Frosty3"
Everyone must keep scores for all players on the card and verify for accuracy at the end of the round. Digital scorecards are preferred but paper is allowed (supply your own and send a photo of it to Dan/James at the end of your round).
5. There are three pools for payouts. Pools are based on PDGA rating: under 840 is C pool, 840-919 is B pool, and 920+ is A pool. If you don't have a PDGA rating, let us know what you typically shoot on a local course, and we will try to put you in the right pool.
6. Ace pot payout rules:
When the pot value is:
$1-$100, Solo ace wins it all
$101-$150, Solo ace wins $100
$151+, Solo ace wins the pot less $50
If multiple aces are hit on the same day, the full pot will be split evenly among all acers. Anything left at the end of the league will roll over to the next league.
7. OB RULES: Check the hole/course notes on your PDGA scorecard app. Generally, there will be no OB once the snow flies, unless we explicitly mark it and make an announcement.
8. One-of-a-kind custom engraved minis will be awarded to the overall league podium finishers (top 3). Overall league points totals are based on each competitor's top 7 rounds by league points awarded (you earn 1 point per competitor beat or tied every week including yourself). Participation pins (Frolf Jerry!) will be awarded to all players who attend every week of league.
9. New this league: we will be placing competitors into their preferred PDGA divisional categories so that you can earn points towards year end event qualifications (e.g., words or am worlds). By default all players rated <970 will be placed in MA1 and all players >970 will be placed in MPO. If you want to be in a different division, include a note on your Venmo entry fee. The division you are in has no bearing on your pool for payouts or league points accumulation.
10. By default, players will be carded based on their current PDGA rating with higher rated players starting ahead of lower rated players to maximize round efficiency and reduce the likelihood of course backups. If you want to play with specific players, make a request in your Venmo entry fee comment.
If you have any questions - reach out to James or Dan or post them here.
