A grand total of 15 players pushed through the elements and post-Halloween hangovers to get out to Kincaid for Week 1. Keegan showed the old farts who is boss and took the overall W and top prize in B Pool with his -5. Close on his heels were Tanner (B Pool), John (A Pool), and Osi (A Pool) who all finished at -4. Jeremy dominated C Pool shooting a clean +3. Our other Week 1 cash winners were Rod , Tyler, and the Sr. Haviland.
Week 2 this coming Saturday 11/8 will be at PC. I'll send out another reminder later this week.
Looking ahead to Week 3, our league will double as the annual ADGA Frozen Turkey Tourney and this year we'll be back at Davis Park. To enter the Frozen Turkey Tourney/League Week 3, you won't pay the usual Venmo fee. Instead, players must contribute either a frozen turkey, spiral ham or $20 of cold hard cash the morning of the tourney. These frozen meats and dollar bills will be donated to the St. Frances Food Pantry. There will be no payouts for Week 3; not for the ace pot, and not for top pool winners (we're comping the usual league fees and PDGA sanctioning fees out of the goodness of our hearts). Please try to get out and join in on the fun. The Turkey Tourney is an ADGA classic and always a ton of fun.
